MovieFone has just posted the first trailer for the upcoming Fat Albert movie due out Christmas Day. The movie is mostly live action, but does have some animated sequences directed by Bert Klein (Boy’s Night Out) and animated by Eric Goldberg, James Lopez, Tony DeRosa, and Bill Waldman. Whereas each episode of the TV series used to begin with a short live-action sequence that would then blend into animation, it appears that the movie reverses that forumla by beginning with an animated sequence that blends into live action. And, yes, Mushmouth is in it.
