The Big Cartoon Database reports that Family Home Entertainment, a division of Vancouver-based Lions Gate Entertainment, has been awarded by Mattel the North American home entertainment rights to the upcoming Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper, the fourth Barbie direct-to-video movie. Vancouver studio Mainframe Entertainment again provide the film’s computer animation. Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper, currently in production, is expected to hit stores in September.
