On March 30, Square Enix hosted a special event in Hollywood, California to reveal the latest on Final Fantasy XV dubbed Uncovered. During the event, they announced numerous side projects the game’s world, including a CG film that will be released on blu ray later this year called Kingsglaive. The film will reportedly run parallel to the events happening to the game and centers on King Regis, father of the game’s main protagonist Noctis. It was revealed during the event that the English voice cast will include Sean Bean, Lean Headey, and Aaron Paul, the latter two appearing at the event to individually talk about their involvement. Kingsglaive is scheduled for release on September 30, 2016 and will be packaged in both the Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Collector’s Edition of Final Fantasy XV.
