Lionsgate’s bad year at the box office continued yesterday with the release of The Wild Life, which failed to make even $1 million on opening day, Box Office Mojo is reporting. It is the latest in a string of animated flops that the studio has distributed in the states, including the critically adored Shaun the Sheep Movie and the critically despised Norm of the North. The Wild Life was a foreign pick-up for Lionsgate, previously released internationally as Robinson Crusoe.
