Their critical consensus: “Kung Fu Panda 3 boasts the requisite visual splendor, but like its rotund protagonist, this sequel’s narrative is also surprisingly nimble, adding up to animated fun for the whole family”. It should easily take the weekend crown, with BOM projecting a $52.4 million take, while Box Office Prophets predicts a lower but still weekend topping $38.4 million.
