Disney has announced they will be releasing a collection of their contemporary short films on Blu-ray and digital platforms this August. Each film will feature an introduction by the filmmakers. Included in the collection are the following films (along with the who introduces them):

- Get A Horse! (2013) – Dorothy McKim, Eric Goldberg, Adam Green
- Paperman (2012) – Kristina Reed, John Kahr
- Tangled Ever After (2012) – Nathan Greno, Aimee Scribner, Mark Kennedy
- The Ballad of Nessie (2011) – Kevin Deters, Stevie Wermers-Skelton, Dorothy McKim
- Tick Tock Tale (2010) – Dean Wellins
- Prep & Landing: Operation Secret Santa (2010) – Kevin Deters, Stevie Wermers-Skelton, Dorothy McKim
- How to Hook Up Your Home Theater (2007) – Kevin Deters, Stevie Wermers-Skelton, Ian Gooding
- The Little Matchgirl (2006) – Dave Bossert, Tom MacDougall
- Lorenzo (2004) – Mike Gabriel
- John Henry (2000) – Mark Henn
It appears that the only short released during the collection’s timeframe that isn’t on the disc is 2004’s One by One.
The set will appear on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere August 11 and on Blu-ray August 18. Special features include “A Short Story on Shorts” and (in a digital debut) Runaway Brain, an Academy Award nominated short released in 1995.
