Although the news was more or less expected, TV Line is reporting that The Office’s Ellie Kemper will be doing a guest appearance on American Dad during its next season…more or less confirming that the series has been greenlit for another round by FOX. In addition, Rachael MacFarlane–the voice of Hayley on the show–recently posted on her Twitter account that she had just wrapped up recording on season 8 of the show, although it seems safe to assume that she was actually referring to a ninth season, since the show’s eighth season finished production about a year ago. As for Seth MacFarlane’s other cartoons, Family Guy is all but certain to come back next fall, while The Cleveland Show is supposedly anticipating cancellation this year.
