The Kung Fu Panda franchise has barely begun, according to the plans DreamWorks has for Po and his kung fu fighting friends. DreamWorks is planning on building it to be a franchise to rival Shrek’s success and the third movie is already in the works with a December 23, 2015 release date, reports The Hollywood Reporter. It will be the first collaboration between Oriental DreamWorks based in Shanghai and the US-based studio. Along with the original cast of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, and Seth Rogen, the new voice cast includes Bryan Cranston, Mads Mikkelsen and Rebel Wilson. Jennifer Yuh Nelson will direct the feature as she did with the first sequel. Plot details are still under wraps, but DreamWorks is hinting at another exciting adventure set in ancient China.
