Taking advantage of the fact that, yes, they own Star Wars now, Disney announced at Comic-Con today that they are planning on sending Phineas & Ferb into the galaxy far, far away, THR is reporting. The special one-hour episode will find the title characters living on Tatooine when they accidentally come into possession of the Rebel Alliance’s plans to destroy the Death Star. It is unknown if actual Star Wars characters will make cameos at this point, but for the time being, the special seems to be going the Family Guy route of “casting” its characters as beloved Star Wars icons. It is set to air on the Disney Channel in late 2014.
