Other than a couple of press releases and a blurry image there isn’t a lot out there about Relativity Media and Reel FX’s upcoming film Turkeys. The movie was originally set for a 2014 premiere but in an aggressive move after DreamWorks moved Mr. Peabody and Sherman, Reel FX moved their film up by an entire year. A few weeks ago the company put out a flyer for a recruiting open house to fill some positions. In the bottom left corner of the flyer is what appears to be a new image for Turkeys (seen straightened and edited here). The image can also be seen on the studio’s Twitter page. Since the film is about time-travelling birds who try to prevent their kind from becoming the popular Thanksgiving food, it’s possible the unusual graphic is somehow related to their means of transport. Or just as likely it could be a placeholder image! Either way, with the film now scheduled for release this year more info should be coming soon. Also check out what might be a preliminary drawing from the Guillermo del Toro produced animated film Book of Life in the bottom right corner.
