Fans of 2011’s The Muppets should be happy to know that songwriter Bret McKenzie–who won an Oscar for the song  Man or Muppet–is back to write more songs for the sequel. Collider recently spoke with him, where he revealed that the new movie should have “Six or seven (songs), depending on how the edit goes.  It works out to be one every 10 or 12 minutes.” He also revealed that “Human Muppets” Ricky Gervais and Tina Fey are both set to have numbers. When discussing the tone of the sequel, McKenzie said that this movie is less focused on nostalgia and more in tone with some of the original Muppet films, namely The Great Muppet Caper. The Muppets Most Wanted opens everywhere on March 21st.
