For over twenty years, the man known as Bruce Timm has brought DC superheroes to the small screen in some of the genre’s most highly regarded animated series (including, among other things, Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League). There probably is not a chance of this hero resurrecting as most superheroes do, but Timm has decided to leave his post as supervising producer and focus on personal projects, according to io9. Timm’s time in the DC sun may be done, but James Tucker, a producer/director on many DC cartoons, will step into his place. Tucker does not want to replicate Timm’s legacy, but instead wants to be new and original. The cape has been passed down and a new future is on the horizon.
