Ars Technica reports that Capcom sent PAX East attendees into a “sing-along frenzy” today with the announcement that they are rewriting history by remastering the 1989 Nintendo Entertainment System video game DuckTales for modern high definition consoles. Details are still a blur, but “the game is based heavily on the NES classic—about 70 percent of the content will be exactly the same, while 30 percent will be slightly re-tuned… the original game was a bona fide masterpiece created by some of Capcom’s best talent.
