With Paramount Pictures shocking the industry today by pushing their upcoming G.I. Joe sequel back to 2013, Universal has taken advantage of the release date change by giving their raunchy comedy Ted the open slot. ComingSoon.net is reporting that the Seth MacFarlene directed film will now open on June 29th. Originally, the live-action/animated movie was set to debut on July 13th, which would’ve given it only seven days to play before a little movie called The Dark Knight Rises came out.
