Brave, Wreck-It-Ralph, Hotel Transylvania and Rise of the Guardians are among the 21 films submitted for considering for the Best Animated Feature Oscar at next year’s Academy Awards. This means that there can be 3-5 nominations in the category, with movies requiring an average score of 7.5 in order to be elegiible. A number of indie and foreign movies have yet to be given their LA runs, which are required for consideration. The nominations will be revealed on January 10th.
