As a sign that Disney is apparently moving forward with the project, Eight Below writer David DiGilio has just been hired to write Tron 3, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Tron: Legacy scribes Adam Horowitz and Adam Kitsis were originally set to pen the script, but are currently being held up by their upcoming ABC fantasy series Once Upon a Time. Although it performed slightly below some very high expectations, Tron: Legacy was still a commercial success, earning more than $400 million worldwide.
