The Simpsons could be getting their own TV channel. The Chief Operating Official of News Corp Chase Carey is toying around with the idea to generate more revenue from the animated series. The cartoon has been in production for more than two decades, going on its twenty-third season. In order for there to be an exclusive The Simpsons channel, new episodes and current rerun contracts would have to end.
