With Jon Favreau no longer involved in the project so he can focus on Disney’s Magic Kingdom movie, the upcoming Iron Man 3 will instead be helmed by Kiss Kiss Bang Bang! director Shane Black, Total Film is reporting. Very little is known about the film at this point, but it is known that the plot’s events will tie to next year’s Avengers movie. Coming from Walt Disney Pictures, Iron Man 3 is set for a May 2013 release.
