Things have ended up becoming pretty grim for the Weinstein Company’s long delayed Hoodwinked sequel Hoodwinked Too! Hood Vs. Evil. Although the original movie became a surprise hit when it opened five years ago, the second chapter hasn’t been as lucky, grossing just $1 million on its opening day yesterday. The original Hoodwinked also fared much better with critics, with the sequel scoring an awful “freshness” rating of 11% from the movie review website RottenTomatoes.com. If things keep up as they are, Hoodwinked Too! will have an opening weekend of only about $5 million.
