ComingSoon.net reports that Disney has revealed at this year’s CinemaCon convention that the official title of their upcoming Monsters, Inc. film will be Monsters University. The site also confirms reports from earlier that the film will be a prequel rather than a sequel to the 2001 hit, with John Goodman and Billy Crystal returning to voice the characters of Sulley and Mike. It is currently set for release on November 2, 2012, exactly 11 years after the original movie came to theaters.
