In the past few months, we’ve seen Bollywood trying to develop Indian animation. Tata Elxsi, an Indian based company, recently acquired the majority stock in the US animation company A Squared Entertainment. While Tata Elxsi is going more Hollywood than Bollywood, the joint venture will produce children’s programs via the Internet, television, and gaming and mobile devices.
