We reported a couple weeks ago about how DreamWork’s distribution contract with Paramount Studios was ending. Paramount tried to renegotiate the deal, but the final words are “no dice.” In response, Paramount is opening their own animation studios, similar to when Disney planned to open Circle 7 if the Pixar deal went sour.
