Anime News Network reports that 4Kids Entertainment will pitch Yu-Gi-Oh Zexel to potential merchandisers. 4Kids plans to release the new series this fall on Toonzai. The company is currently in the middle of a lawsuit, however, with the Japanese licensors, TV Tokyo and ADK’s Nihon Ad Systems (NAS). Both tried to cancel their contract with the American company, but 4Kids filed for bankruptcy to keep operating. NAS and TV Tokyo had planned to release Yu-Gi-Oh Zexel with other companies, but until the bankruptcy and lawsuit are put to rest 4Kids keeps the license.
