On August 5, Cartoon Network premiered it’s newest cartoon, Thundercats, a remake of the 1980s cult classic produced by Rankin and Bass (the studio that made the popular Christmas specials: Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman). Fans were hesitant if the new show would live up to the reputation of the old, but after reading a collection of reviews from The Hollywood Reporter the show’s future looks bright. The story is multi-faceted and proves to be entertaining for adults and children. Thundercats airs every Friday at 8:30 PM on Cartoon Network.
