Screen Rant is reporting that Shrek director Andrew Adamson is set to produce an edgy computer animated movie called Beasts of Burden. Based off of a Dark Horse Comics book, the plot will involve a band of dogs (and one cat) who defend their land from dark forces such as cannibalistic frogs, witches and an evil society of rats. The film is set to be animated by Real FX Creative Studios, who previously worked on the animated TMNT movie. The project is currently without a release date.
