USA Today has an interesting look at how 3-D movies are affecting the movie industry, and whether or not they’re really worthy of the hype they’ve been receiving. While films like Alice in Wonderland and Avatar have been mega-hits, the digital projectors required for the format are extremely expensive for theater buyers, causing it to still be considered a gamble by many.
