Reports are coming in that Toy Story 3 is living up to its hype so far, with an estimated $42 million box office take for yesterday. The critically praised sequel is now on track to make more than $100 million during its opening weekend, which would be a first for Pixar. Up until now, the studio’s strongest debut was for The Incredibles, which opened to $70 million in the November of 2004.
