Married screenwriters Joe Syracuse and Lisa Addario (Surf’s Up!) are currently working on a script for a new DreamWorks Animation film called Imaginary Enemies. The story will involve the imaginary friends of children–fed up with being blamed for their misdeeds–looking for revenge when their kids have grown up. Mike Mitchell of Sky High and Shrek Forever After fame is working as a developer on the project. There are also, apparently, discussions being made about the movie possibly being a mix of live-action and animation, which would be a first for the animation studio. Risky Business has more information on the project.
