Box Office Mojo reports that the release date for Monsters Inc. 2 has been shifted from Nov. 16, 2012 to Nov. 2, 2012, to avoid competition with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part Two) which opens the same day. Also, DreamWorks’ tentatively titled The Guardians has been moved from November 21, 2012 to November 2, 2012.
