After not appearing on the big screen since 2003’s box office bomb Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and the rest of the gang are planning to make a return to theaters…in CGI this time. Three 3-D animated shorts have been approved by Warner Bros., the first of which is set to be shown before this summer’s Cats and Dogs sequel The Revenge of Kitty Galore. In addition, a new TV series is planned to begin airing on Cartoon Network this fall. The New York Times has more details on both projects.
