In what would seem to be an official greenlight for a project that’s been long-rumored at the studio, Disney has hired Iron Man director/actor Jon Favreau to helm their Magic Kingdom movie. Details on the project are extremely fuzzy for the time being, although its speculated that it will involve several classic Disney characters working together. We can assume that the movie won’t actually happen for quite some time, as Fevreau is currently finishing work on Cowboys & Aliens, and is then set to direct Iron Man 3 for Marvel and Disney.
