Germany’s Constantin Film is developing a 3D animated feature based on Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan, reports Variety. The English language feature will be produced inhouse by Reinhard Klooss and Robert Kulzer, who is also a producer on upcoming 3D projects Resident Evil: Afterlife and The Three Musketeers. Disney’s animated adaptation of Tarzan grossed $448 million worldwide in 1999.
