The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has announced their film nominees and several animated films were nominated in several different categories. Perseopolis, WALL-E, and Waltz with Bashir were nominated for Best Animated Film. Perseopolis and Waltz with Bashir were nominated for Best Film Not in the English Language. WALL-E picked up additional nods for Best Music and Best Sound. In the Animated Short category the nominees were Codswallop, Varmints, and Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death.
