Pixar’s WALL-E shared the Best Picture honor with Slumdog Millionaire at the Boston Critics award on Sunday. Wall-E also received the Boston scribes’ inaugural award for animated feature, reports Variety. Ari Folman’s animated war feature Waltz with Bashir was the runner-up in the documentary category.
Also, WALL-E was named Best Animated Feature at the New York Film Critics Online awards, an organization, composed of 27 web-based reviewers and 2 print critics with a strong online presence.
In addition, WALL-E also featured in the annual top ten list released by American Film Institute on Sunday.
