AWN reports that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release Surf’s Up on on DVD, Blu-ray and UMD on October 9th, 2007, as well as providing a list of bonus features. Notable among the bonus features is the all new animated short, The ChubbChubbs Save Xmas. The short will feature the characters from the 2002 short, The ChubbChubbs, wich was released theatrically along with Men in Black II and Stuart Little 2 and won the 2003 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
