In the latest chapter regarding the mysterious Disney stop-motion project reported on September 29, 2007, it appears that the film’s revelation may have hurt the relationship between the Walt Disney Co. and the North Carolina School of the Arts. In a podcast from The Movie Show, a representative comments, “I have a friend who goes to the School of the Arts. Apparently, [this incident] has ruined the relationship with Disney. I don’t think they’re going to be getting any more screenings from now on.” On a final note, she adds, “It’s possible that [the relationship] could be salvageable, but it’s not looking too good.”
