Once planned for direct-to-DVD distribution, The Amazing Spider-Man will now air during the CW’s Saturday morning Kids’ WB block, records Variety. with Greg Weisman as supervising producer and Victor Cook as producer/supervising director, the series “will focus on the start of the Spider-Man mythology, beginning with Peter Parker coping with his newfound powers as he enters his junior year of high school.” The Amazing Spider-Man will begin its television run in early 2008.
