CNN Money indicates that DreamWorks Animation’s Monsters vs. Aliens is now scheduled to be released nationwide on May 15, 2009. The date is one week earlier than had been previously announced. Reinventing the classic ’50s monster movie into an irreverent modern day action comedy, Monsters vs. Aliens will be the first DreamWorks Animation film produced in stereoscopic 3D technology. Produced by Lisa Stewart (I Think I Love My Wife), the film is being directed by Conrad Vernon (Shrek 2) and Rob Letterman (Shark Tale).
