Confirming a report published on Thursday, July 5, Variety indicates that Jim Carrey will portray Ebenezer Scrooge, the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Future, in Robert Zemeckis’ A Christmas Carol. The picture will be produced by Zemeckis, Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey through ImageMovers Digital. To be released with Disney Digital 3-D, the motion-captured Christmas Carol will likewise contain live-action and computer graphics.
