Israeli animation studio Animation Lab is developing The Wild Bunch, which focuses on “a group of genetically modified cornstalks who attack a group of common wildflowers.” Written by Philip LaZebnik, the pic will be helmed by first-time director Alex Williams, with Jim Ballantine producing. Wild Bunch is the first of six animated films Animation Lab hopes to make in the next eight years, with each movie having a budget close to $20 million.
