The Weinstein Company has grabbed the North American rights to the French film Piccolo, Saxo and Company, reports Yahoo! Movies. From Marco Villamizar, the computer-animated musical tells the tale of “Piccolo, Saxo and other brass and string instruments that band together to form a grand symphonic orchestra. The group goes on a quest to find musical notes and other instruments stolen by an evil doctor who dreams of building the perfect instrument.” For its U.S. debut, Piccolo, Saxo and Company will receive an English dub. It has not yet been determined if the film will be released theatrically or directly to video.
