Rotten Tomato’s 7th Annual Golden Tomato Awards has awarded Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit their top prize for The Best Reviewed Film of 2005 in Wide Release. This is the second win for an Aardman film – Chicken Run won the top award in 2000. It is also the third year in a row an animated film has won the top prize – The Incredibles won in 2004, and Finding Nemo took the award in 2003. In addition to the overall awards, category prizes are also awarded. In the animation field, Wallace and Gromit obviously took the top spot, followed by Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, and Howl’s Moving Castle.
