With Dark Horizons, Variety spreads the word that Vanguard Animation and Nash Entertainment have adopted Santa Paws, an idea from producer Bruce Nash. The pitch regards “a stray dog that accidentally hitches a ride to the North Pole on Santa’s sleigh.” Set to write the script is Damian Dibben, while IDT Entertainment will have rights to distribute Santa Paws, should the film enter production.
