Sci Fi Wire, via Coming Soon, reports that according to producer Rick McCallum, writers are being interviewed for a live-action Star Wars television series, set during the years between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Furthermore, the producer spoke of 3-D versions of the Star Wars movies, while likewise mentioning a new Clone Wars animated series which “won’t be ready for another year.” Meanwhile, word has arrived that the original, unaltered Star Wars trilogy is coming to DVD this September, as declared by Lucasfilm.
