The Wild retained the top spot on the national DVD sales chart, for the week ending September 24th. Debuting in a respectable third place was Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses, the first Barbie title from Universal instead of Lionsgate. Interestingly, the direct-to-video movie sold nearly 500,000 units – 15% more than the franchise’s previous princess-themed installment. As for Scooby-Doo in Pirates Ahoy!, the canine caper came in at #9.
