A new advertisement being sent to video dealers reveals that the two-hour documentary Look, Up In The Sky! The Amazing Story Of Superman is set to receive its TV premiere on June 12, just days before it hits DVD on June 20 to tie in with the release of Superman Returns in theaters on June 30. Despite pretty basic cover treatment, the disc promises sneak-peek footage of the new film, a look at comic book, TV and film incarnations from over the years, and interviews with the filmmakers and stars, though it is unclear if these will include those from Superman’s past or just those involved with this year’s movie. The documentary, co-created by Returns director Bryan Singer, is narrated by his Lex Luthor, Kevin Spacey. It is unknown if this release will turn up again in the mammoth 14-disc Superman Collection box set due for release this Christmas, but for a look at the ad and the artwork, follow this super-link:
