Paths of Hate
Platige Image is the studio where the Oscar-nominated The Cathedral and the BAFTA-winning Fallen Art were made. Together with Damian Nenow, a student of the Animation and Special Effects Dept. at the Filmschool in £ódŸ, Platige Image has started work on a common project.
Following a six-month break after completing work on The Great Escape, the previous film by Damian Nenow, the studio is once again involved in an animated film by the same artist. Entitled Paths of Hate, this time the film is a cinema production.
At the moment, the first trailer promoting the film is available on www.pathsofhate.com. At the end of this year, a full website devoted to the film will be created.
Paths of Hate is a film about how people follow the way of self-destruction, annihilation and vehemence every day leaving behind more and more bloody traces or paths of hate.
The film’s essence is created by a blend of a comic book style and a pompous soundtrack referring to classic film productions. The director of the film Paths of Hate thought using features characteristic to comic books was a suitable means to attain a peculiar narration.
The completion of the film is planned for spring 2007.
