Yahoo! News reports on a new Peter Pan book being written by a Geraldine McCaughrean and commissioned by the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. The sequel will be entitled Peter Pan in Scarlet and will feature the well-beloved characters “Peter, Wendy, Tinkerbell, the rest of the Darling family and the fearsome Captain Hook.” No possibility of a movie is mentioned although if the book is successful a movie based on it would be very likely.

Assuming movies are made based on the two pending Peter Pan books his life could be viewed in the following order:

1. Peter and the Starcatchers
2. Peter Pan
3. Peter Pan in Scarlet
4. (The Tinkerbell Movie)
5. Return to Never Land
6. Hook
