The following is a press release on Mundos Digitales, an International Festival of Animation, Fx and Videogames, which will be held July 1-8 this year in Spain:
Mundos Digitales is an International Festival of Animation, Fx and Videogames, and it is going to be in La Coruña (Spain), between the 1st and the 8th of July of 2006.
Since 2002, the Mundos Digitales animation and special effects conference has featured presentations on the most relevant and up-to-date projects from major studios and pioneering individuals, at both national and international level.The last year Mundos Digitales counted whith speakers like:

By the other hand, Mundos Digitales have an International Animation Competition. Participation in the International Festival of Animation Mundos Digitales is FREE. There is no entry fee. And the material may be sent by POST or WEB. The deadline for receipt of entries is May 1st., 2006 together with the following documentation:

This competition is open to all creations of animation in short format, produced and/or created for non-commercial purposes and after January 1st, 2005.
Mundos Digitales also has a permanent Videogames zone .
