TV Shows on DVD has captured a large assortment of animated news dealing with future DVD releases. First up, front and back box artwork for the 4-disc Shout! Factory DVD of The Super Mario Brothers Super Show! has arrived. Special features offered in the package include: an interview with the voice of Mario, Captain Lou Albano; original art galleries; and a “Storyboard-to-Screen” comparison for the show’s opening title sequence. In other DVD news, full-size cover art for the two upcoming All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series DVDs, Friends to the Rescue and Dogs Undercover, has been unveiled, along with front and back artwork for the Garbage Pail Kids – The Complete Series DVD set. Likewise, cover art has been given for the two upcoming DVD volumes of The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin, The Journey Begins and The Journey Continues. Concurrently, the press release and artwork for Astroboy (1963) – Ultra Collector’s Edition DVD Set 1 are now available to view online. Lastly, rumors have surfaced regarding the DVD releases of Hong Kong Phooey – The Complete Series and the third season of X-Men: Evolution.
